10:30 AM | Design Your Own Totoro Poster Contest | All Ages

Design your own Totoro! Drop by and pick up a blank poster, then color and return it by 2/24 to be entered into the contest! Voting will take place throughout the day of SequoyahCon on March 8th and a winner will be chosen!

10:30 AM | Ghibli Storytime | Youth

Join us for storytime as we read Beneath. This sweet and tender picture book celebrates our similarities, differences, and that there's always more under the surface of what we can see. The storytime will be followed by a fun craft! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

11:00 AM | *Pathfinder Campaign | All Ages

Summoning all adventurers! Come out to SequoyahCon and join Dungeon Master Luke for a one shot Pathfinder Studio Ghibli-based campaign at the Hickory Flat Public Library! We'll have characters, minifigures, dice, and an enchanting story for you! Pathfinder and other Tabletop RPG players of all ages are welcome, but please keep in mind that this program may be too advanced for younger children. Registration is required.

12:00 PM | How to Draw Ghibli | Youth

Drawing friends! Come join us as we learn together how to draw Studio Ghibli Characters. This will be so much fun as you will learn step by step instructions on how to master characters like Ponyo, Totoro and more! It will be easy! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

1:00 PM | Ghibli Movie Trivia | All Ages

Think you know your Studio Ghibli stuff? Test your knowledge! All ages are welcome!

1:30 PM | Origami Station | All Ages

Do you like origami? Come check out our Studio Ghibli Origami Station at SequoyahCon 2025! All ages are welcome, and all supplies will be provided! Parent or guardian supervision is required for folks under the age of 12.

2:30 PM | Whisper of the Heart Writing Workshop | Teens

Join SequoyahCon friends alike at the Hickory Flat Public Library and engage in a Whisper of the Heart-themed writing workshop for all teens! Turn your thoughts into meaningful words to create your own story. A writing prompt will be provided. Teens are encouraged to share their writing to receive and offer peer support. No registration is required.

3:30 PM | *Ghibli Painting Tutorial | Adults

Follow along as we paint a serene Princess Mononoke scene. Registration is required. This program is for adults.

4:00 PM | Teen Craft-Felt Bookmarks | Teens

Teens are invited to sew (or hot glue) their own felt bookmark! Prepared designs include Totoro and the Spirited Away soot sprites--or use the supplies to design a custom bookmark of your favorite Studio Ghibli character. All materials provided while supplies last.
